InLine links identification and inspection across automated logistics

Clustag’s new InLine division addresses a key Industry 5.0 challenge: connecting automated handling with reliable verification and technical support.

InLine links identification and inspection across automated logistics

Clustag has introduced InLine, a division designed to help intralogistics automation integrators build more connected and controllable material flows. Rather than focusing on a single machine, the offering brings together identification, measurement, inspection and end-of-line technologies that can be configured around the needs of a facility.

The portfolio includes RFID, automatic label printing and application, DWS equipment for dimensioning, weighing and scanning, machine vision, quality control and process validation. These capabilities can be deployed across conveyors, sorters, order picking, e-commerce fulfilment, parcel handling, packaging and dispatch.

From automation to operational resilience

For industrial operators, the value lies in making physical flows more visible and decisions more timely. Systems can identify shipments, verify contents, calculate dimensions and weight dynamically, and flag errors or damage before a problem reaches the next process step. That can support traceability and help prevent avoidable incidents, although the final result depends on how well the solution is adapted to the site.

Clustag says product characteristics, line speed, application position and environmental conditions all influence system design. Data and images are intended to feed operational decisions, while end-of-line operator stations can automate selected tasks without removing the need for practical process oversight.

Partnership model for integrators

Labelmasters, recently incorporated into Clustag, contributes specialist experience in automatic labelling, volumetric measurement and weighing. This broadens the technical base available to integrators and can reduce fragmentation between identification, packaging and dispatch equipment.

Resilience also depends on recovery when equipment or software encounters a fault. InLine offers 24/7 remote assistance, hotline and ticket support, video troubleshooting and on-site intervention. Through its InLine programme, Clustag is positioning specialist service as part of the automation architecture rather than as an afterthought.
