Pudu Robotics builds regional infrastructure for scalable automation

A new Neuss headquarters gives Pudu Robotics a local platform for demonstrations, training, inventory and service as European robot deployments grow.

Pudu Robotics builds regional infrastructure for scalable automation

Pudu Robotics has opened a European headquarters in Neuss, Germany, signalling that the next stage of robotics adoption will depend on regional infrastructure as much as on the machines themselves. The site brings together product demonstrations, training, warehousing, sales, repairs and after-sales support.

For companies assessing automation, this model addresses several practical barriers at once. Customers can examine equipment, prepare teams, access locally held robots and spare parts, and obtain technical assistance through a European organisation. That can be particularly relevant when a pilot project needs to be replicated across multiple sites with different layouts and operating routines.

Building resilience around deployment

Pudu says it operates in more than 20 European countries, with annual business growth above 60% over the past two years in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Norway, the UK, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Poland. Its regional resources include nearly 50 sales professionals and almost 40 technical-support personnel.

The company has a service centre in Germany and warehouses in Germany and the Netherlands holding complete robots and spare parts. It also relies on distributors, system integrators and service providers. Together, these capabilities are intended to improve delivery coordination, maintenance response and continuity after commissioning—important considerations for businesses seeking dependable automation rather than isolated technology demonstrations.

Human-centred integration across sectors

Pudu supplies solutions to 16 industries, including retail, food and beverage, hospitality, healthcare, transportation, education and warehousing. Customers named by the company include EDEKA, Albert Heijn, Carrefour, Marriott, Van der Valk, Pizza Hut, Intermarché and Denner, while Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is among the transport hubs using its systems.

Deployment planning is adapted to each customer’s physical environment and operating model. This reflects a practical Industry 5.0 principle: automation has to fit the workplace and its people before it can deliver repeatable operational value. Multilingual support in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and other languages is intended to ease cooperation across national markets.

At an upcoming Amsterdam event, Pudu is expected to show the T600, T300 and T150 light-payload industrial delivery robots and the MP2000 pallet-handling robot. Bella Sun, the company’s vice-president and general manager for Europe, said the Neuss base would strengthen long-term work with customers and partners.

Pudu Robotics plans to continue developing local teams, partner relationships and service networks as robotics becomes more integrated into everyday operations.
