LogiMAT keeps Stuttgart base as logistics technology market expands
LogiMAT will remain at Messe Stuttgart until at least 2031, following the renewal of the venue agreement between organiser EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH and Messe Stuttgart. The decision gives the logistics technology market a stable European meeting point as manufacturers continue to assess automation and digital tools for more adaptable operations.
The event’s next edition will run from 16 to 18 March 2027. It will mark 25 years of LogiMAT at the Stuttgart exhibition centre, where the show has been staged since 2003.
Technology with an operational focus
LogiMAT’s subject areas include automation, digitalisation, material flows and supply chain resilience. Together, these themes reflect the practical pressures facing Industry 5.0-era businesses: increasing productivity while retaining flexibility and improving the ability to respond to disruption. The exhibition gives companies an opportunity to examine technologies and discuss deployment with suppliers and integration partners.
The location also supports international participation. Messe Stuttgart has direct links to Stuttgart Airport, the motorway network and local public transport, while its position close to major industrial and technology centres helps connect exhibitors with a broad manufacturing customer base.
Record attendance underpins continuity
The agreement follows a record-breaking March 2026 edition. EUROEXPO reported new highs in exhibitor numbers, net exhibition space, international participation and trade visitors. A total of 69,856 professionals attended across the three-day event.
That scale matters for industrial innovation because it brings technology developers, logistics specialists and users into the same marketplace. The value is not limited to product launches: companies can compare approaches to automation, digital visibility and material handling while considering how solutions fit existing operations.
