Qatar Cargo network growth gives industry more resilient airfreight options

Qatar Airways Cargo is reshaping parts of its Winter 2026 network to give industrial companies more options for moving high-value and time-sensitive goods between Europe, the Middle East and North America. The programme combines dedicated Boeing 777 freighters with passenger belly capacity and connections through Doha to more than 160 destinations.

Capacity built around industrial flows

The first change arrives on 25 October, when a weekly Boeing 777F service begins between Doha and Copenhagen via Budapest. It will create 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity for Denmark and southern Sweden. The freighter does not replace existing passenger supply: 10 weekly Boeing 787 services already provide more than 100 tonnes of belly-hold capacity per direction each week.

Warsaw follows on 26 October with the relaunch of freighter operations. The weekly Doha–Warsaw–Chicago–Brussels–Doha rotation gives Polish exporters direct access to the US market. Together with two weekly freighters to Katowice and 10 weekly wide-body passenger flights to Warsaw, the network will provide more than 435 tonnes of cargo capacity to and from Poland in each direction.

Operational flexibility across the Atlantic

From 1 November, a weekly Boeing 777F will serve New York JFK via Liège and Atlanta. Combined with 14 weekly passenger flights, the route will offer more than 226 tonnes each way. The carrier has also introduced two weekly freighters to Dallas via Liège. Main-deck capacity reaches 200 tonnes into Dallas and 100 tonnes outbound; passenger services lift the overall totals above 250 and 150 tonnes respectively.

For manufacturers, the value of the expansion is not limited to headline tonnage. Additional frequencies and alternative gateways can help shippers align transport with production schedules, manage urgent replenishment and route specialised cargo through a broad international network. The stated target sectors include pharmaceuticals, healthcare, aerospace, technology, energy, perishables, vehicles, oversized freight and general industrial shipments.
